Sara offers two to three prenatal appointments for each client. A range of topics can be discussed in the appointment including creating a birth plan, discussing how labor works, what your partners role in the birth will be and discussing interventions in the hospital.
Using a prenatal appointment to practice various positions in labor can be very useful. There are many different positions that can facilitate labor. For example, hands and knees can be a great position to labor in if you are experiencing back labor as well as slow down a very fast labor.
